Join us for this new Set 2 training in LEC! We’re exploring best practice engaging young children in science, technology, engineering and math (STEM)! Guest Trainer, Jessica Peters, of Lakeshore Learning is offering investigations and exploration into integrating STEM vocabulary throughout your day. The session uses everyday materials and specially created Lakeshore Learning Kits to develop new understanding of STEM, explore the Engineering Design Process, play with STEM and learn its relationship to our daily activities. We will explore how to improve STEM awareness beyond the classroom! All participants will receive free STEM materials from Lakeshore Learning AND have a chance to explore Advanced STEM kits supplied by the NW EL Hub/STEM Hub collaboration that will be available for check out from Service Centers in the future! All training is free, pre-approved at a Set 2 level, and brought to you courtesy of NW Early Learning Hub; STEM/CTE; NW Regional CCR&R; NWRESD and Lakeshore Learning!
